Hello Everyone! Yes, I am so happy for this opportunity to be a source of encouragement to you on this Sunday evening.

If you can recall, I started my last blog with the following note…

In the past three months, the desire to begin my Renewed & Refreshed blogs has burned deep within me, but the emotional struggle to overcome the frustrations of this season, stripped me of the motivation to start writing again. I know the healings and the breakthroughs that I have received over several past seasons of my life, have come through writing from my brokenness and pains. Taking the step to be vulnerable about my daily reality and encouraging and mentoring others through this vulnerability, has been the outlet to my victories and freedom.

So, from reading the above, I was still unable to press through in continuing my Renewed & Refreshed blogs. But…the story is not over yet. I am determined, by the Grace of God, to start back writing weekly.

So, here’s to this week’s blog on Trust Without Borders.

Today, has been much of a roller coaster mentally, due to so many decisions I will need to make in the following week. As I pondered the direction I will need to take, I got to a point where I felt like I was at a standing point, and suddenly, I was in a state of panic and confusion. So, as soon as I saw myself moving in that direction, I immediately contacted a dear mentor and friend of mines, and expressed my thoughts to her. After I unleashed all I could possible express from my thoughts, she made a very striking observation of what I shared with her. Her observation was that fear was an evident factor that has hindered me from making some various life decisions in this season, and as a result has led to confusion and feelings of confinement in my present circumstance. In my case, I knew that I was fearful. There was no doubt about that, but for some of these decisions, I just was not willing to let go of my fears, due to one reason or the other. Now, that I came to a point of confusion and confinement, I decided it was time to approach my Daddy God in the Throne Room of Grace, to just let it all out to him, and the following is what I felt he so graciously released to me…

My Beloved, I want to take you to a place where your trust has no borders, or has no limits. Where you do not limit the invasion of my supernatural power at work in your life. The place where you take me at my word. The place where you take me for just what I say I am and just what I say I will do. The place where you take your eyes off your physical circumstance, and place your total and undivided focus on me. Yes, and that is your undivided and undistracted focus on me, and me alone. Beloved, my desire is to pour out my supernatural power in your present circumstance. My desire is to show you my Glory in a new way, being manifested right in the middle of your circumstance. But, dearest, you continue to limit me. You are limiting me by your continuous fears and worries, that has led to the very anxiety and confusion you are in. I am grieved by this, because I so desire to unleash the supernatural into your midst. I so desire for you to walk in the freedom and confidence that will propel you forward into your Destiny.

When you place no limits on what I can do, I am able to function according to my nature, that is who I am. So, over every thought that is boggling your mind at this time, I ask that you remove the borders of unbelief, fear, frustration, unforgiveness, unworthiness, self-pity, regrets, incompetence, unrighteousness and self-righteousness. I will work in you and through you, in spite of these boarders, when you surrender them to me. Dearly Beloved, I have been longing for the day, you will walk with me without any borders. At any time during our journey, these borders may present themselves to you, but you must consistently surrender them to me. I am your Abba Father, and I love you with such an everlasting, unrelenting and undistracted love. I saw you in the middle of your chaos and confusion, and wanted to reveal to you what trust without boarders looks like. With this revelation and your obedient response to what has been revealed to you, I am now able to invade your present circumstance with my supernatural power. Just begin to praise me right now, for your freedom, redemption and for the fact that you have come to a place where you can trust me without borders.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the revelation of learning to trust you without borders. I pray for anyone that is reading this blog that is in need of your supernatural power to invade their circumstance. I pray that they go deeper in the revelation of your faithfulness and love, as they trust in you. I pray that they will walk in a new freedom during their seasons of transitions, and not be held captive to their fears, In Jesus Name. Oh, Abba, I ask that you would unleash your power, love and a sound mind to your believed ones, as they cross over to their promised land. Thank you Daddy God for your intimate care and concern for your children. We Love and appreciate you, In Jesus Name, I pray, Amen.

A couple scripture promises to you, His Beloved One…

Your Promises Are Backed …By All the Honor of Your Name

Your Promises Are Backed …By All the Honor of Your Name

In the past three months, the desire to begin my Renewed & Refreshed blogs has burned deep within me, but the emotional struggle to overcome the frustrations of this season, stripped me of the motivation to actually start writing again. I know the healings and the breakthroughs that I have received over several past seasons of my life, have come through writing from my brokenness and pains. Taking the step to be vulnerable about my daily reality and encouraging and mentoring others through this vulnerability, has been the outlet to my victories and freedom.

So, here we go, Beloved!

I want to start out and speak to your innermost being, that God’s promises over your life, are backed by all the Honor of His Name. Oh, yes, Thank you Daddy God. In this season of my life, I am believing God for the fulfillment of some promises over my life. One specific promise, is one that I have trusteed God for, for almost 3 years. This unfulfilled promise has been a source of frustration, discouragement, discontent and much emotional ups and downs. Of course, as most of us know, as we wait for the fulfillment of a promise, the defeated foe (the enemy) presents us with opportunities to fellowship with defeat. What I mean by fellowshipping with defeat, is that the enemy wants us to camp out with him, falling for all kinds of emotions that are attached with a defeated mentality, during our waiting seasons. This mentality can range from complaining, anger, frustration, sadness, jealousy, hopelessness, worthlessness, and thoughts of self-righteousness. Self-righteousness in the sense that you may feel that you have lived a righteous life, and don’t understand why such and such is happening in your life. Beloved, that is a mentality of defeat.

So, as I woke up one morning with some of the above emotions, I sat up on my bed as I picked up my Bible, and randomly turned to Psalms 138. Physically, though I just woke up, I was exhausted and discouraged. As I started reading Psalms 138, I came across versus 2 & 3 that says… “for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name. As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.”

Dearly Beloved, can you imagine the Creator of the Universe, standing right in front of you and speaking these words to you. Can you imagine your Eternal Daddy telling you, that every promise that He has spoken over your life, whether it’s through a prophetic word, a dream, a vision, or a word he dropped right into your Spirit, can you imagine Him telling you that I am going to back what I am saying to you by ALL the Honor of my Name. Let me break this down a little more for you. When you back something up, you want to prove that it is true. You want to assure the receiver that they can be assured of its viability, functionality, legitimacy and so on. So, the Lord is saying the following to you:

1. I have not forgotten you, nor have I forgotten my promises over your life
2. My Promises over your life are finalized. Nothing will cause me to withdraw those promises from you
3.  You can be assured that the fulfillment date has already been set on the palm of my hands
4. I am sealing this deal (the Promise Fulfilled) up with the Honor of My Name!
5. There is no need to worry or fret, it’s a done deal, because I will never allow anyone to get my Glory
6. My Name is Glorious, my Name Supernatural, my Name is Everlasting, my Name is Sovereign
7. I have placed the signature of my name over those promises, so just receive my peace and assurance as you Rejoice in its fulfillment!

Beloved, what are those promises that you have wrapped so tightly in your heart? For some, the promises may be known by many around you, but for others, it may just be you and the Lord that know about the promise. I know there are some of you that have doubts because of things that have taken place in the physical. So, for you, it may have come to the point where it seems the fulfillment is impossible. I just want to remind you that the One who has Conquered death and the grave, specializes in Impossibilities, and says that He backs His specialty with the Honor of His Name.

Heavenly Father, I pray for everyone reading this blog today, I pray that you will inscribe deep down within their hearts the revelation of what it looks like for the promises over their lives to be backed by the honor of your name. Oh, Abba, you are so gracious about personalizing things in such a way that it would catapult us into a new level of trust and faith in you. Do this for your Beloved Ones. Jesus, this is the season of your Resurrection. Resurrect hearts that are discouraged, down-cast, or at the point of giving up. Let a new joy arise within their hearts. A joy that breaks forth in a confident assurance. In Jesus Name, I pray, Amen.

Psalm 138:1-3New Living Translation (NLT)
A psalm of David.
I give you thanks, O Lord, with all my heart;
    I will sing your praises before the gods.
I bow before your holy Temple as I worship.
    I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness;
for your promises are backed
    by all the honor of your name.
As soon as I pray, you answer me;
    you encourage me by giving me strength.

Single Women....How to Wait on God the Right Way

How to Wait on God the Right Way

Posted by Afi Pittman

Single Christian women often confuse waiting with doing nothing to prepare for what you want in life.

But Isaiah 40:31 talks about all the things you DO when you wait on God. You run without getting tired, you hope, you renew your strength and soar to new heights.

Check out this airing of A Different Spirit as I talk to award-winning author TC Spellen about waiting on God the right way.

I Think To Myself…Just Like Moses

I Think To Myself…Just Like Moses

I think about myself, and realize that I can liken myself to a Moses. Moses was a leader, mentor, servant, intercessor, and One that felt incapable and insignificant when God called Him to do something that seemed to be far above His human capabilities. God set high standards and expectations for Him. In my walk with Christ, I feel that the standards and expectations that the Holy Spirit has communicated to me to abide by and follow, can be very difficult and challenging at times. Just like Moses, I can’t do the things that everyone else in my age group is able to do. I am not able to just watch any movie I choose, dress in any way I feel, listen to just about any music, say whatever comes to my mind, hang out with just about every person, date any guy that I like, and make life decisions as I feel, the list goes on and on. If I want to be in line with the calling on my life, I have to abide by the rules and regulations set before me, not those that were set for others.
